Hands and feet

Whilst Tom Daley is impressing the crowds and judges in the Olympics with Back 2 1/2 Somersault 2 1/2 twists, our little champion is just learning to hold onto her foot. This requires careful meditation and silence (and no flash photography, please) while she carefully studies her hand. Then out comes the leg followed by the explosive foot grab. Sometimes this is not successful and the ankle ends up clenched in a tight little grip. Settling on bronze medal she bides her time until the leg leaps into the air for another attempt. And then look! The foot is there, in the fist. She squeals with delight for a few brief seconds until the foot makes a bid for freedom and again she is lying on her back reflecting on her achievement.

My family came en masse yesterday. It was the first time my Bermudian Bro had seen the little baby, and I think it went quite well.
